The owners of De Kas are convinced that food is at its best when it's server as fresh as possible. That is why they came up with growing their own crop right in the restaurant. Or maybe better said the other way around: De Kas (the greenhouse) is a restaurant in a greenhouse. The owner himself and also the cooks are really the ones harvesting.

Every day a new menu is composed, depending on the available seasonal products. From May till October guests are invited on a trip through the greenhouse and crop fields. Definitely in the top three most interesting restaurants of Amsterdam. A three course menu will cost you €49,95.
De Kas is also open for lunch on weekdays between 12h and 14h.
