Why locals love it
Tresor is one of Berlin's most famous techno clubs. Many internationally famous DJs have played or even started their career here. In 2005 Tresor had to change its location and moved to a former power plant on the border of Kreuzberg and Mitte districts.
Why you should visit it
In its new locations Tresor has lost some of its underground character, but on the plus side it's now much more spacious and easier to get in. The one thing left unchanged is the music: hard, innovative techno beats.
Special tip
The club has its own record label and influenced the development of the techno scene in Germany and Europe.
