This tiny performance space and art gallery on the fringes (literally and artistically) of Copenhagen's meat-packing district focuses on contemporary art, music and poetry with direct links to the international queer community. With portable toilets, a makeshift bar and some stunningly bizarre parties and events, Warehouse9 is far from mainstream.
Why you should visit it
Founded in 2007, their aim is to challenge established boundaries, so if you're looking for artistic expressions and perspectives from the LGBT community or for edgy cultural experiences from the Copenhagen underground art scene, then this is definitely the place to be.
