This cosy “ocakbası” (grill restaurant) has been run by the same family since it opened in 1981. With consistently excellent food, it has a strong local following. They have a second more spacious restaurant in Esentepe close to the metro station.

Absolutely everything on the menu tastes amazing, which is no wonder considering that most of the meat comes directly from their family farm. I suggest you sit on the ground level as the second floor is a bit squashed.
They’re famous for their “fıstıklı kebap” (kebab with pistachios).
