Accidentally discovered a few years back, what has been transformed into the underground museum below the Sukiennice offers a rare step back in time. Covering Krakow's history from prehistoric times through to the modern age, you can walk the ancient streets of Krakow and even see an old cemetary.

This museum offers a stroll through Krakow's history in what used to be the original streets, cellars of buildings that not longer exist, as well as part of an old reservoir. The glass pyramid fountain on the Main Square offers an interesting view of St Mary's Basilica as it is also the roof of the musuem.
