Just a short train ride out of the city to iconic Richmond lies the largest of London's eight Royal Parks. This historic wilderness not only accommodates a relaxing scenic stroll or cycle, but is home to 750 wild deer who can be seen in all their glory roaming the fields. This park is truly expansive, and one lap around the outer trail is 11km.

Both Richmond, and Richmond park are a truly unique experience that reflects the historic culture of England. Only 30 minutes away, it's a great opportunity to escape the chaos of the city for a few hours and enjoy a more peaceful adventure. If you plan to see it all, consider hiring a bike as it's around the size of London's West End.
Richmond (Zone 4) can be accessed via the District Line of the Underground, or even quicker via South-West Trains services from Waterloo and Vauxhall.
