Dedicated to the patron saint of Milan, Sant'Ambrogio is one of the oldest churches in the city and one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in Italy. Its historical significance is second only to the Duomo cathedral. Exhibitions and other events occasionally take place in the atrium.
