The Civic Aquarium of Milan is housed in a beautiful Liberty (Art Nouveau) building at the edge of Sempione Park next to the Civic Arena. It underwent major renovations from 2003 to 2006. The friezes and hand-painted tiles that adorn the building’s façade hint at the treasures within.
