It seems that the team behind Sokolniki Park is trying to keep up with Gorky Park as they’re continually trying to refresh its image. Six times larger than Gorky, Sokolniki is becoming more interesting although it continues to be a place with a vast green zone perfect for long walks and skiing tracks in winter.

Why you should visit it
New entertainment spots at Sokolniki include ‘The Bassein’ beach project, an observatory where you can watch the sky, winter ice-skating rinks, the Modern Calligraphy Museum, an extreme sports zone and sports equipment rental points.
