The angel of peace is a 38m high statue and a very scenic spot in town. But it is also located close to the heart of Munich's beloved area of Lehel along the green river bank and stands as a landmark for the beauty of the city.

It is not just another statue or landmark. The visual axis in direction city center is amazing and the nearby park or the river bank are perfect spots to chill out and relax.
Special tip
Go down to the fountain and take the stairs on the side to reach the stairs to the underpass. You will find some very cool graffiti art.
