The market at the Wiener Platz is the smallest permanent market in Munich and resembles a cute idyllic village square with chestnut trees, wells and the mandatory maypole. In the middle there are small green shanties with fish, flowers, vegetables, meat and wine on offer.
The Viktualienmarkt is a Munich's classic but if that's too crowded for you, the market at the Wiener Platz is the perfect alternative with interesting shops and little cafés in a beautiful setting.
