About New York

New York City is popularly known as "The City That Never Sleeps," and rightly so! With a population of 8.4 million, plus the hundreds of thousands of daily commuters and millions of annual visitors, there is an energy in this city that is unlike any other. Getting around is easy, with a subway system that runs 24/7, yellow cabs, and the ever-expanding Citi Bike program. However, the best way to really see NYC though is to walk its streets and take in the surroundings. The buildings and skyscrapers are a marvel to admire as you roam the many districts and neighborhoods, from downtown in the Financial District all the way uptown to Harlem. The city has so much to offer throughout the year, even during the coldest of winter or hottest of summer days, from fashion, art, and theater to film, music, and sports. In addition to Manhattan, the outer boroughs, like Queens, Brooklyn & the Bronx, also have plenty to offer and contribute to a true New York experience.
