On the other side of the Kadriorg Palace you'll find the Estonian “White House” - that is, the president 's crib. And as is the case with most government buildings in Tallinn - it's pink. Because honestly, what better colour is there to represent the unwavering authority of the institutionalised state?
You can easily walk up to the president's front door and pose for a picture in front of the two armed guards. A word of advice though – we strongly recommend that you do NOT set foot on the steps leading up to the front door itself. Let's just say that the soldiers aren't there for show. We're talking from experience here.
