It’s not just a palace. The surrounding area also makes Verkiai well worth a visit. It's a fantastic place for a calm, relaxing stroll. Home to the most popular lakes in Vilnius, it's also a great place to hang out during the summer.
Why you should visit it
The first palace was built here in the 14th century, though the current one was built more recently in the 18th century. The beautiful and elaborate structures mix well with the surrounding nature and the view behind the building is one not to be missed.
Special tip
Although it's a calm place, it can be very noisy at times.
