Small old fashioned movie theatre is a great alternative to the huge impersonal multiplexes. This one is located close to Letná park and there is also a cool bar, which serves as a meeting point for young artists from the nearby Academy of Fine Arts and other interesting people from the neighbourhood.

Why you should visit it
The cinema plays only a few times a day and apart from the mainstream movies they show also alternative movies, older cult pieces and from time to time even direct transmissions of ballet or opera performaces from the world‘s most famous theatres. This cinema also offers theme nights, cycles of movies, festivals and discussions.
Special tip
One of the interesting events is its Blind night: once a month people come to the cinema without knowing what movie they are going to see. :)
