The most spectacular historical gate of the Old Town, the Gothic Powder Tower from 1475 is one of the symbols of Prague. It is a starting point of the Royal Route which used to lead the Czech kings to the Prague Castle.
Why you should visit it
The tower hosts an interesting and affordable observation deck with one of the best views of the Old Town. It is located at a height of 44 m. The tower is called "Powder" Tower because for long it was used as a gun-powder storage place.
