Why locals love it
It is one of the top sights of Prague, masterpiece of local gothic architecture. However, not so many people know about a chance to walk up to its top. Since the entrance is quite tiny, people easily pass it by without knowing they can get in. It is definitely worth it to pay 90 CZK entrance fee. From the gallery/balcony there is a stunning view.

Why you should visit it
The tower is located at the foot of Charles bridge (Old Town side). If you want to avoid crowds ruining your pictures, definitely walk up to the tower, it is usually empty. You will see Charles Bridge under you and panorama of Prague Castle in the back. Stunning views! From the other sides you will see Old Town and its historical buildings.
Special tip
Watch sunset or evening Prague from the top! During high season it is open til 10pm.
