Booked private walking tour of old town and Jewish area. Mike is an excellent tour guide gave us just the right amount of information so that we didn't get overloaded with info. He managed to make the tour very interesting and found us a lovely café to stop and have a break. As we were staying in Prague for 6 nights we asked about visiting another town outside of Prague . Mike suggested Kutna Hora which is a Unesco world heritage site. Mike e mailed us the details and prices of the train etc. He then met us at our hotel and we went by train to this very lovely and peaceful town. Mikes knowledge of the history of the site was amazing and the cost of this tour was very reasonable. He also recommended some lovely restaurants in Prague and as it was our wedding anniversary while staying in Prague we went to Kogo an Italian restaurant Mike had mentioned. Full marks Mike it was the best meal ever. My husband had the dover sole cooked in butter and lemon and I had a steak with the most gorgeous mushroom sauce. Mouth-watering mmm. I can highly recommend Mike as a tour guide

You’ll then continue on to Wenceslas Square – a site where many historic events took place, especially during the communist era.

Next, you’ll see one of the most beautiful theatres in Prague – the Estates Theatre. It’s located beside the oldest university in the city, founded by Charles IV in 1348.

After passing the House of the Black Madonna – a unique cubist building, and strolling through Ungelt – a place where merchants gathered in the Middle Ages, your guide will lead the way to the Jewish Quarter.

This part of the tour takes you through the Clementinum – a former Jesuit college. It took over 200 years to build this magnificent complex!

The tour ends on the riverbank in front of the famous Charles Bridge with an amazing view of Prague Castle and the Lesser Side.
