Description

Your guide will meet you at your hotel and accompany you on a bus to Mělník. During the short journey through the Bohemian countryside, your guide will briefly introduce you to the town’s history from its foundation to the present day.

The first stop will be the Mělník Chateau where you’ll have the chance to see what life was like for wealthy noble families in the 18th and 19th centuries.

After enjoying a tasty lunch in a chateau restaurant, you’ll sample some of the region's best wines in a medieval wine cellar.

The last stop will be the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, which hides the second-largest ossuary in the Czech Republic. The crypt has an unbelievable atmosphere, with bones from more than 10,000 bodies.

Finally, you’ll enjoy a pleasant train ride back to the main railway station in Prague.
