The strictly geometrical garden in the shadows of St Vitus Cathedral and Prague Castle is one of the top Baroque attractions of Prague. You will find there trimmed box trees, an isle of mythological bronze figures, fountains, and many other interesting features which make this lovely retreat one of a kind.
The central element of the garden is the monumental three-arcade Sala Terrana, popular venue for Summer outdoor concerts. An unusual attraction of the Wallenstein garden are also peacocks wandering around the place and an aviary with live owls. Next to it there is an artificial cave with stalactites and strange creatures hidden in the wall.
The garden is open in the period of April-October.
