I discovered this bar-restaurant at the beginning of 2014. The two beautiful shiny cisterns visible from the street made me curious to enter. It really is a temple of beer – the owner even brews four different varieties in the basement. Expect to pay €4 for 25 cl and €7.50 for 50 cl of Pure American Pale Ale at the bar.

They also serve tarts, salads, burgers, meat and fish (€9–24). For each main course the menu lists a beer recommendation to match. The décor is trendy with exposed red brick walls and leather seating. It’s an ideal place to warm up before heading to one of the nearby pubs to dance. You can also visit their brewery!
It’s located in Grands Bouvelards – an area known for its nightlife. The bars at Boulevard Montmartre or Poissonnière are perfect for partying.
