This small museum consists of two houses where famous painters lived. In the first building, drawings and paintings show you the total transformation of Montmartre over the centuries. You can also learn more about the Parisian nightlife in the 19th century, the various artists that lived there and the period of the Commune.

The second house hosts temporary exhibitions. I had the opportunity to visit the exhibition “The Spirit of Montmartre and Modern Art, 1875-1910”. You can also visit the apartments of the painters Suzanne Valandon and her son Maurice Utrillo, a deep dive into their intimacy as artists. Full price is 9.50 and student price is 7.50€.
The Renoir Gardens are lovely. They also offer an overview on the Montmartre vineyards.
