The Colombo Lotus Tower, shaped like a giant lotus flower, is the tallest structure in Sri Lanka and a striking symbol of the modern capital. A ticketed observation deck near the top offers panoramic views over the city, the harbour and the Indian Ocean, and the tower also houses restaurants, shops and event spaces. Especially spectacular when floodlit in changing colours at night, it has quickly become one of Colombo’s most popular attractions and a landmark on the skyline.
