Sajos is the striking modern Sami Cultural Centre in Inari, a beautiful timber building on the banks of the Juutua river that serves as the home of the Sami Parliament of Finland. As well as being a centre of Sami self-government and culture, it houses a library, craft workshops, a restaurant and event spaces, and offers guided tours of its architecture and role. A symbol of Sami identity and pride, it offers visitors insight into the contemporary life and governance of the Sami people in their cultural capital.
