The Riva is Šibenik palm-lined waterfront promenade stretching along the harbour at the foot of the old town. Lined with cafés, bars and moored boats, it is the city main gathering place for an evening stroll and a departure point for ferries and island excursions. The promenade offers open views across the channel of St Anthony towards the sea and the St Nicholas Fortress.
