Feskekorka, literally the fish church, is a distinctive market hall built in 1874 in a neo-Gothic style that resembles a church, hence its nickname. Standing beside the Rosenlund canal, it houses fishmongers and seafood restaurants selling the fresh catch of the Swedish West Coast. Recently restored, the landmark is both a working market and one of Gothenburg most photographed and beloved buildings.
