The terraced groves of the Serra de Tramuntana and central Mallorca produce prized extra-virgin olive oil with protected designation of origin, pressed by small family cooperatives. Visiting these producers for tastings and buying directly supports the preservation of ancient groves, dry-stone terraces and sustainable farming on the island.
