Torgallmenningen, Bergens grand main square and pedestrian street, is the heart of the citys shopping, lined with department stores, fashion boutiques, Norwegian brands and shops selling everything from design to outdoor gear. Interspersed with cafes and monuments, the broad walkway is a pleasant place to shop and stroll in the centre of the city. It is the main retail hub of Bergen and a good starting point for exploring the surrounding shopping streets.
