Koum Kapi, a seafront strip just east of the Old Town, is where many Chania locals go out, with a row of bars and cafes spilling onto the pavement beside the waves. Livelier and more contemporary than the harbour, it offers cocktails and music with a young, local crowd, and is a great place to feel the citys everyday nightlife energy.
