Historic Properties is a beautifully preserved cluster of early-nineteenth-century warehouses on the Halifax waterfront, now home to shops, boutiques, galleries, pubs and restaurants. Once the base of privateers, the restored ironstone and timber buildings offer an atmospheric setting to browse for gifts, crafts and Maritime souvenirs, combining shopping and history right on the boardwalk in the oldest surviving warehouse district in Canada.
