Jellyfish Beach Restaurant

Dominican Republic banner Beach with palms and boats

Jellyfish is the beachfront classic everyone photographs, a two-storey thatched palapa right on the sand. Diners come for fresh lobster and seafood paella with their toes near the water and a glowing sunset behind them.

It doubles as a popular wedding and event venue, so evenings get busy; lunch is a more relaxed affair.

Local tip: Reserve a lower-deck table if you want to be closest to the beach.
