Hoyo Azul is a vivid turquoise cenote pooled at the foot of a tall cliff, reached by a lush jungle trail. Visitors love the short hike in and the cool, almost unreal blue water waiting at the end.
It sits inside Scape Park in Cap Cana and entry is ticketed, usually bought as part of a wider park visit.
Local tip: Bring water shoes and a waterproof bag for the walk down to the pool.
