Trahter Postipoiss

Trahter Postipoiss

A tavern in a building close to two centuries old, on a quiet street in the old town. The kitchen deals in Slavic cooking, with pelmeni, blini and grilled meats, and the house pours its own beer under the name Imperator. Inside there is a bar and two dining halls; in summer the operation spills into two courtyards and a street terrace. Live music is a fixture on Friday and Saturday evenings, and the room fills with a mixed local and visiting crowd. Opening days are reduced outside the summer season, so it is worth checking before making a special trip.
