A cafe, bakery and lunch restaurant on Gamla Stan’s main square, in a medieval building whose present form dates from the 1640s and which the Grill family bought from Queen Kristina in 1681. Stockholms Stadsmission ran the house from 1913, at first as a refuge for people in difficulty, and the catering business was transferred in June 2022 to a company that continues the work-training programme for people a long way from the labour market. Staff include trainees supported into employment. There are vaulted rooms, a bakery counter known for cinnamon buns, a daily lunch, and a courtyard garden used in warm weather.
