This ticket covers one visit each to the San Diego Zoo in Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park at Escondido, roughly 35 miles north, or two visits to either. The zoo holds around 12,000 animals across 100 acres of landscaped canyons, with the guided bus tour, express bus and Skyfari aerial tramway included. The Safari Park is arranged as large open enclosures viewed from the Africa Tram safari, which crosses habitats holding rhinoceros, giraffe and antelope, with the Cheetah Run demonstration also included. Shows and keeper presentations at both sites are covered, as is the Children's Zoo. Timed tickets for Panda Ridge are issued free at weekends on a first-come basis. The pass remains valid for a year from purchase.
