Everglades Airboat Ride and Wildlife Park

Operated by Wild Florida from its base south of Orlando near Lake Cypress, this outing combines a 30-minute airboat run with entry to the adjoining wildlife park. The boat crosses 4,200 acres of protected marsh and open water in the headwaters of the Everglades system, where alligators, wading birds, turtles and bald eagles are commonly seen; ear defenders are issued and a guide provides commentary between runs. The wildlife park holds native and exotic species including sloths, lemurs and zebra alongside a large alligator population, with a live alligator demonstration. Longer airboat options are available. Gratuities are included and time on the water runs between half an hour and an hour.
