NC Department Store is a South Korean chain run by E-Land Retail that sits between a discount outlet and a full department store, weighted towards fashion and food and aimed at younger shoppers. The Haeundae branch occupies a building that opened as a shopping mall in 2005, was rebranded as an outlet in 2006 and took its present name in 2011. It stands a short walk from Haeundae Beach and connects directly to Exit 6 of Jangsan station on Busan Metro Line 2. Twelve floors and several basement levels hold the Kim's Club discount supermarket, Modern House homeware, a Kyobo bookshop, a Megabox cinema and a large number of cafes and restaurants, with whole floors given over to children's and family goods. Opening is generally from 10:30am to 9pm on weekdays and to 10pm at weekends, with one closure day each month. The chain's Seomyeon branch closed permanently in May 2024.
