Opened in the mid-2010s, Marta Pejoska’s atelier was Macedonia’s first private gallery dedicated to contemporary filigree jewellery, made using traditional Ohrid silversmithing techniques alongside local materials like Ohrid pearls and lake mother-of-pearl. As a woman working in a craft historically passed from father to son, she’s often credited with helping keep the tradition alive for a new generation. It’s rated 4.6 on Google from early reviewers.
