This is a family-owned bed and breakfast with a working boutique winery attached – the rare Ohrid stay where the wine on your table was made by the people who checked you in. The vineyards are in the Ohrid region and the operation is deliberately tiny, bottling only a couple of thousand bottles a year.
There are sixteen en-suite rooms including a penthouse suite, and a breakfast buffet is included. It stands at the Lower Gate end of the Old Town, opposite the small Mal Sveti Kliment church it is named after, so you are inside the historic quarter without the steep climb.
Local tip: The restaurant is listed separately from the rooms – worth a table even if you are sleeping elsewhere, to drink the house wine at source.
