Founded in 1993 to promote trade between the Global South and Trieste, this fair trade shop has been run since 2021 by La Collina, the same social cooperative behind Il Posto Delle Fragole, and it’s now part of Italy’s Altromercato fair trade network.
The shelves hold coffee, chocolate, textiles and handicrafts sourced through fair trade supply chains, and it holds 4.6 on Google, though as a small nonprofit shop it hasn’t built up a large review count.
Local tip: Check opening hours before you go; as a volunteer-supported shop it keeps shorter hours than a typical boutique.
