Tržnica is Banja Luka's central market hall, a genuinely local scene of fresh produce, cheese, honey and household goods that has nothing staged about it. It is one of the most-reviewed spots in the city, simply because everyone in Banja Luka ends up here at some point.
Go in the morning when stalls are fullest, and expect to see more locals doing their weekly shop than tourists browsing.
Local tip: Bring cash, small stallholders rarely take cards.
