The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is Banja Luka's Serbian Orthodox cathedral, built between 1993 and 2004 in a neo-Byzantine style with a 47-metre bell tower and a gold-clad dome. Entry is free, and it holds one of the highest review counts of any sight in the city.
The interior is heavily decorated, with a carved iconostasis and a large central chandelier beneath the dome.
Local tip: Visit outside service times for the quietest look at the interior.
