Bar Mleczny Mis is one of Wroclaw's best-loved milk bars, and the queues most lunchtimes prove it: it's genuinely difficult to grab a table when university staff and students descend for home-cooked Polish classics at old-fashioned prices. The menu leans on soups, pierogi and stewed meats rather than anything designed for a tourist crowd.
