Life Electric is a striking modern sculpture by architect Daniel Libeskind, set out on the breakwater beyond the lakefront gardens and lit up after dark. It's a short, free walk from the centre and one of the more photographed spots on Como's waterfront, especially at sunset.
Local tip: Time it for early evening – the lighting and the walk out along the breakwater are both better with some sun still in the sky.
