Yad Sarah is Israel’s largest volunteer organisation, and its Netanya branch lends wheelchairs, crutches, hospital beds and other medical and rehabilitation equipment free of charge to anyone who needs them, no means test required. The branch was re-dedicated in December 2024 as a regional hub with expanded rehabilitation facilities and a therapeutic garden serving the wider Sharon area.
Everything here runs on volunteer hours, from the equipment desk to the workshops that clean and repair donated gear before it goes back out on loan to the next family.
Local tip: if you’re travelling with an older relative or anyone who needs mobility equipment for a short stay in Israel, this is the branch locals turn to first.
