Welcome to the best known bar street in Cologne! Many locals, especially students hang out here for two reasons. First it is right next to the university and in the middle of the city, also the drinks are pretty cheap and most of the places do happy hours.
There is nothing you won't find here, whether you want to drink a Mojito while listening to Latin music or have a pint in the pub. The crowd is young and it can get a tad crowded on the weekends, especially because most bars are not huge, but this just adds to the college atmosphere, here is where you'll meet new friends !
Local tip: Come a bit earlier to take advantage of the happy hours. Be aware that during the weekdays the metro operates until 1am and starts again at 5am.
