South Pointe Park

View of Miami from South Pointe Park

South of Fifth, Miami Beach

At the southern tip of Miami Beach, this 17-acre park is where locals come to watch cruise ships glide out through Government Cut. There’s a pier for fishing and photos, a splash fountain for kids, shady lawns, and a walking path that connects to the Beachwalk. Come at sunrise for the calm, or late afternoon when the light on the water is at its best. Parking fills up fast on weekends, so consider walking or biking in.
