Gas Works Park

Rusted structures at Gas Works Park on Lake Union, Seattle

Wallingford

Built on the site of a former coal gasification plant, Gas Works keeps the rusted industrial towers as public art surrounded by green lawns on the north shore of Lake Union. Locals come to fly kites from the sundial mound, picnic and watch seaplanes land. It’s one of the best spots to take in the downtown skyline across the water.
