Podgorica’s favourite riverside hangout, right by the ancient stone Ribnica bridge at the meeting of the Ribnica and Morača rivers. Skaline (“the steps”) is part beach bar, part swimming spot: wooden sunbeds on a pebble beach, cheap cold drinks, morning coffee in the greenery and a swim in the clear river when the city bakes, then music and a lively crowd in the evenings. Scruffy, scenic and thoroughly local.
