A pair of gorgeous jungle waterfalls on the forested slopes of Mount Ungaran, an easy day-trip from Semarang. From the Kalisidi trailhead, a scenic 2.3–2.5km walk through rainforest and irrigation channels (watch for monkeys) leads to Curug Benowo (40m) and the more hidden, canyon-wrapped Curug Lawe (30m), both with cool, crystal-clear pools. Wear proper shoes for the slippery path, go in the morning, and bring a swim — it’s a lovely, inexpensive escape into nature.
